The surrounding area has a huge Aeon shopping mall, that has a frequent "Friday Night Live" free concert in the food court, and the Youpla has a theater, many shops and restaurants, an OK store, Grain Coffee Roasters, and much more! Many cute Koala statues and pictures are around, and of course, the Yamaman Yukarigaoka monorail line starts and ends here."

"The tickets are 200 yen each way. If you're taking the train on one of the days they are doing matainence, go downstairs and take the bus. The bus isn't as frequent but there isn't a charge when the train isn't running."
