"Came here from a cruise ship in Sasebo to try out a traditional hot spring onsen that the locals use. Private hire on the day was only 2000 yen approx. A great experience."

"| NOT TATTOO FRIENDLY | Very nice hotel and it was a relatively scenic drive up. I was really excited to visit and try the onsen here since the staff was friendly and helpful. Sadly, I came for the onsen and was denied entry after I paid and prepared to go in. They saw that I have tattoos so they politely told me I was not able to enter the onsen because of that. After I got dressed they happily gave me my money back. It seemed like a really nice onsen with a great view so I would recommend it to someone who does not have tattoos"
