"I visited at 10:30 on a weekday morning, with the mentality of saying hello when I arrived at a new place. It is on a small hill a little away from the downtown area, and there are few people along the way. When I arrived, there were only a few foreign men and a group of Japanese couples. At first, there was no one in the office. The Japanese couple who asked for the seal left when they saw that no one appeared after ringing the bell and knocking on the window. I stayed a little longer without anything happening, and suddenly an old lady appeared in the room. She gave me the seal with her trembling hands. She really worked hard. From here, you can look down at the city of Kakunodate. If you have time, you can come and see it."

On this day, the weeping cherry blossoms at the samurai residence were in full bloom, so many tourists came from the morning.
However, when I visited this shrine around 12 o'clock, there was no one there, so the grounds were very quiet.
If you go through the torii gate and go up the stairs, you will see the shrine. It's on a hill, so when you look down on the town of Kakunodate, the cherry blossoms are beautiful.
The goshuin was placed in a box with a note in the shrine. The method was to put ¥500 each into an envelope. The date is blank on the stamp, so you will have to write it in yourself."
