"Small but compact place, with a lot of information. Although all display are in Japanese, they provide free English audio guide and provide detailed explanation. At the end of the exhibition, there is a short 15 min video to summarise the content. Good place for wet weather or you have some to spare around Tazawako.

"We enjoyed our time here way more than we expected.

They have an English audio and written translation QR that was easy to bring up on our phones. We were the only people there so didn't even need headphones as there was no one to disturb. However you can borrow headphones at the front desk if needed.

We learnt all about Lake Tazawa and the past, present and future of Kunimasu. It was all very engaging and enjoyable.

We got a combo deal ticket for here at Omoide no Katabunko which we visited before coming to the Lake Tazawa Kunimasu Trout Museum."

for collectors of eki stamps, there are two here - one of lake tazawa, and one of the trout museum!"
