"There is almost always a long queue. To get a spot there, arrive a good couple hours before the cafe closes and get a number at the machine in front of the door. (You CANNOT make a reservation beforehand).

If you have a Japanese phone number they can notify you via phone or sms when it’s your turn. If you don’t have one, scan the QR code on the ticket to let them notify you via email.

The food is very mediocre. Whether or not you want to come here depends on how much you like Pompompurin ¯\(ツ)/¯."

"This is a nice place where we had good time.

The design is really beautiful, as you would expect from anything done Sanrio. But there was more: the entire space and experience was well thought to provide small moment of delightful surprise and to create memories.

For example there was one young man sitting alone facing the table and the waitresses talked to him to bring him some Sanrio soft toys to keep him company.

They did something similar with a young woman who came to eat alone.

There were soft toys to decorate tables with kids.

Plenty of areas to use as photo ops with props to enrich the experience.

The food they served is actually good. Super simple as it is mainly rice with Japanese omelette, chicken nuggets and spaghetti with tomato sauce but nonetheless enjoyable.

The score could have been higher had we been reserved the same treatment we saw for other customers.

We think there was a mix of being of a different age group (this space seems to be mostly directed to teenagers), not being able to speak Japanese (and the staff not being able to speak English) and the fact that the waitress who welcome dus seemed very inexperienced, maybe even on her first day as after the first interaction she came supported by a colleague who seems to be a supervisor.

We didn't like that our food arrived in 2 different moments. We knew we weren't in a fancy restaurant but precisely because the food was so simple one would expect certain minimum things.

We found the bathrooms were not in good conditions. Not dirty but ruined yes.

In general parts of the furniture seemed worn out by use."

Highly recommend for both the visuals and taste.
Outside of store (on 3rd floor) is a tablet that you can switch to English and then get a ticket. After that, line up behind the sign to the right of the door way. Once inside, the very polite staff will greet you and then sit you down or offer you a choice if it’s not packed.
Have to order a drink but they were very good. Only thing I would caution is that the little bears head in the drink is pure white chocolate which is fine but combined with the rest, was maybe a bit too sweet for one person. There’s a water station you can refill your cup at your leisure. Then take your bill clipboard up to the front desk and pay your bill. There’s also a small store of merch to buy. Can take photos of food but no photos of staff (naturally). Highly recommend."
