Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about the tranquil atmosphere and the well-cared-for cats at Cat Cafe Mocha Shibuya, offering a peaceful escape from the city's bustle. The unlimited drinks and clean environment are also highly praised, though some note that many cats can be sleepy or uninterested in playing. Purchasing treats is recommended for more interaction.
"The moment we stepped in, it was so quiet! Such a calm atmosphere that was definitely needed after some busy days in Tokyo. They had a lot of cats, but also tons of space for them. The cats had plenty of chill spots out of reach, so they can definitely decide whether they get attention or not. The staff were super friendly, and they also clearly adored the cats. And the cats clearly loved the staff too. While most cats didn’t want to be pet by me when we visited (which is totally okay of course), they did come up to the staff for attention. Which to me is a good sign that the cats get the love and respect they deserve!
I definitely recommend buying them a little treat, since the cats were suddenly veeeery interested in me🤣
You pay for the time you spent there, and have access to unlimited drinks while you’re there."

"It was a really calm, relaxing and enjoyable time. I went mid morning and it was pretty empty. Staff were lovely and friendly.
The cats are so so sweet and the SOFTEST cats I've ever known! They are clearly very very well taken care of and loved by the staff. The rooms were all clean and tidy and very chic. Coffee was from a vending machine (free) and tasty!
I would recommend to come when the cats are being fed and at a time when you can give them a frozen treat."

"SO CUTE!! The space was so well designed and a well needed break from the chaos of shibuya outside. The cats were so chill and docile and seemed very well taken care of by the staff who obviously really loved them. Unlimited drinks with crazy selection was great and treats for the cats from as little as 100 yen. + cat photocards lol"
