What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Tokyu Hands Shinjuku is widely praised as an outstanding, multi-level store offering an astonishing variety of products, from stationery and art supplies to unique souvenirs and household gadgets. Shoppers appreciate the well-organized layout, friendly staff, and the convenience of tax-free shopping. However, some customers have reported issues with product quality control and slow service for certain items.
"They sell almost everything here, from DIY stuff to household items to stationery to toys. There are a total of 7 levels and tax free counter is at level 5. Service is prompt and friendly and the store is kept very neat, clean and tidy."

"Floors and floors to enjoy! From stationary to craft supplies to kitchenware (and so much more). Definitely worth a visit. You’ll find things you didn’t know you needed"
Annalisa Contos
"They sold me a defective luggage scale but I have no time to return so they can correct their mistake. It’s so useless that it says a nearly empty backpack is 27 kg. A small camera is 12 kg. The lack of quality control is wild - I actually think someone returned this and they resold it. Their staff is also a mixed bag. My cashier was great and tried to manage the other employees but it took them about 30 minutes to retrieve the luggage I bought. I watched as people who purchased their luggage after me got it immediately while I waited. The only reason this isn’t one star is because the cashier was doing his best to help me while also checking people out. Overall, though, the poor service and poor products are what stood out."
