"Our family spent two nights at Azuri Camp Space in July of 2025 and it was GREAT! Flat camping areas, very clean facilities (showers, toilets, wash house etc were all pristine), ocean side views and easy access to swimming/paddle boarding etc) and very friendly & helpful staff. Everything is in Japanese so if you aren't comfortable communicating and understanding things in Japanese, you may have issues. This IS Japan, however. 😉
Our stay was peaceful, relaxing and we will come back again and again.
We love that there are rules regarding being respectful of others and quiet times. Well behaved pets are welcomed as well as children. Our two sons (13 & 16) camped with us, and they throughly enjoyed it as well.

"I don’t have too many photos because it was raining BUT
My fiancé, dog and I took a spontaneous trip down to Mie to camp even though we knew the weather might not be so great. We hadn’t booked a place, thinking we would just camp somewhere along the beach. Boy was that a mistake! lol. Long story short, we were having a hard time finding a place that would book us some day, or didn’t have some crazy rules or fees. We had lost some hope. But then we saw on Google this great location called azure camp space. It was right along the water, the car park and tent area has grass and looked well maintained. When we called, a very nice woman answered the phone and said we could come and dogs were allowed! When we made it there, she greeted us, showed us where to park and walked us through the space (showed us where the trash is, showers, bathrooms etc) the place is so clean. I was relieved honestly because I had read reviews of some other places that were not clean.
If it’s not raining, this is a great place to camp and enjoy the scenery and water. I would definitely come back again when the weather is nice! We also met another nice camper who was very friendly and we had some beers!
