This park features a bronze statue of local hero Takasugi Shinsaku.
Although it's a park, there are no playground equipment for children, and the plaza features a few log-like wooden tables for resting.
However, the park is completely unmaintained, overgrown with weeds, and far from being a place to rest at a table, it doesn't feel like a place to pay tribute to a local hero.
I'm sure Takasugi Shinsaku is crying in his grave. 😭
By the way, there's no parking lot.
I don't recall, but I think there were probably no restrooms either."

"Although parking is inconvenient, the view of Moji with the bronze statue of Takasugi Shinsaku overlooking the Kanmon Strait and Shimonoseki Tower in between is beautiful.
