Reviews Summary

Don Quijote Shinjuku Kabukicho is a massive, 24-hour store offering an overwhelming variety of goods, from snacks to electronics. While many praise its extensive selection and iconic status, common criticisms include intense crowds, narrow aisles, slow elevators, and sometimes higher prices. It's a must-visit for the experience, but strategic timing is key to avoid frustration.

"This is a massive store, over 5 floors, having a huge number of products. The name stands for “Everything” store, and literally everything is sold here. Among the items I saw there was souvenir items, electronics, accessories, apparel, shoes, suitcases, cosmetics, snacks, candies, jewelry, second hand luxury products and so much more.

The price of the items were relatively higher to me. Also, most of the items were average or below average quality to me. It was also very crowded, was difficult to move between the small aisles. There were checkout counters on multiple floors. Staff members were working hard to checkout customers quickly. In general I liked exploring the store but I couldn’t find anything worth spending my money."

Nehal

"Insanely overcrowded to queue for slow cashier payment and not much to buy. Sardine lift. Tight staircases. Prefer to go their other outlet for a better souvenir shopping experience. A iconic meeting point. Must check in. 😬"

Asia Apparel

"Don is a must stop for all your shopping needs. Everything you need to fill your suitcases with stuff to bring back home, not enough suitcases, get'm here! Like 6 levels of items. I visited at like 4am one morning and was pretty empty, which was a great way to look around, came back with the family around 7 pm a different day, and it was packed elbow to elbow. Rows are tight, so there is lots of shimmying around. Open 24 hours! Spent way too much here! Don't miss a shopping spree here."
