What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors generally praise Tokyo Mystery Circus for its immersive and challenging escape room experiences, with many highlighting the fun and engaging nature of the games. The availability of English-friendly options is a significant plus for international travelers. However, some guests found certain games to be less engaging or overpriced, with occasional issues regarding game pacing and puzzle clarity.
"Tokyo Mystery circus was right next to our hotel so my friend and I went for the Witch’s House escape room on a whim…and wound up attempting two more of their escape rooms in the same week because we had a great time!
We were able to book tickets online and participate in the escape rooms fully in english and the puzzles were challenging enough to be fulfilling. I was especially impressed by the ingenuity of some of the puzzles in the NINE ROOMS area, as well as the Silent World challenge of not being able to communicate vocally.
Unfortunately we were just shy of escaping the runaway train, and we didn’t have time to go back for a retry of the last room, but we would definitely have if we had had the time.
Some of the hints can be confusingly worded for these games, but they were helpful enough that we sped through most of the puzzles after referencing them!"

"Went for the Sailor moon and the Death Note events. The Sailor moon was the best. Lots of interaction and imagination. Even a memory photo to download. It was the best!
The Death Note one was a bit difficult. Even with a support manual, many did not finish. If Japanese is your second language, this is very difficult. I wished for more interactive things and less paper quizzes. Didn’t like having to use my cellphone either: Killed my battery and the links didn’t always work properly which took away time to solve the puzzles. Coffee was decent and very cute!"

"The flagship building of "Real Escape Game" by SCRAP, you can enjoy different themed escape rooms here. They have wide range of games suitable for both small group (1-2) to large group (6+) of people, with play time from 10min to 120min.
There is also cafe and souvenir shop inside as well.
We got 50%-off coupons on Apr14, and we tried the English version of "Escape from the prison". The game is well designed, the instruction are clear even in English, and we can barely escape at the last seconds."
