"Free, Beautiful and Safe as of when we visited on March 23,2025.. In case you missed it:
Ogi-machi Gassho-Zukuri Village is registered as The World Heritage. This historic Gassho-style house is extremely flammeble. So do not smoke while walking around, do not drop any burning cigarettes, do not build any fires or set off any fireworks in the village.
The bridge seems to connect you to 2 small villages: Shirakawa and Ogimachi- they are bus stations on both sides . Our bus stopped at Shirakawa bus terminal and we walked till here, which took us about 46mins while taking our time."
