"Stunning views of the Onnaiwa Rock, with the Tateyama Mountains in the background. The area is walking distance from Amaharashi Station, which in turn is accessible from Takaoka via the Himi Line.
The beach is sandy, so be careful when trying to walk on the rocks as the sand may affect your balance while walking. There are lots of ducks swimming which makes for a charming sight.
There is also a nearby roadside station where you can have snacks and buy souvenirs. The roadside station also has an observatory deck.
Please consult the train timetables so that you can plan your visit, if visiting by train."

"A short distance walk to Amaharashi JR station. Train passes right next to the coast. Beautiful location to see the Alps nearby. Unfortunately, no snow caps were seen during our visit. There's a nearby restaurant to recharge yourself and admire the landscape view at the same time.
