"Peaceful, beautiful and we got lucky with spectacular weather for two days straight! I highly recommend bringing some type of strong box for garbage though because there are a lot of mouse/rats at night that scourage the campgrounds for food."

"Didn't actually camp here myself, but passed by it on a walk. Looks like it has most things you'd need, and a stunning views of the inland sea. You can bring your car on to the island via ferry for convenience... No need to leave it in Tadanoumi."

Chris Sappington

"not worth it, just go for the rabits and get out. insanely expensive, one person 3600 per night +550 for an onsen, no showers, no electricity, no kitchen (just a shelter for putting fire), no drinking water, the area is not prepared it is full of rocks and big sand. if you want to take a shower they offer you onsen for extra 550 (so one simple camping night is 4150yen with your own stuff and not even a coffee)."
