"I visited the restaurant. The quality was beyond my expectations, and I was thrilled! I was stuffed and very satisfied.
I also went to the adjacent Sakana-kun Museum, which was also a surprise!
Regardless of whether I'm a fan of Sakana-kun or not, I was impressed by the way the exhibits were displayed.
The exhibition area showcasing the surrounding culture was also of high quality, and although the space was small, it was packed with accurate and detailed information, making it a shame it wasn't free.
I only planned to go for a meal, but I also learned a lot, making it a very memorable experience."

"It's an 18-minute walk from JR Uchibo Line's Tateyama Station, or just a 5-minute rental bicycle ride away. Exit the west exit and head south along Hojo Beach. You'll see a large building decorated with an illustration of Sakana-kun.

This is a roadside station. Well, it's called a beach station because it's built on the beach. It's a complex with a restaurant, rest area, museum, aquarium, and shop.

The building on the north side is the museum building. It houses the Sakana-kun Gallery and the Local History Museum. There's an air-conditioned rest area at the back.

The building on the south side is the aquarium building. It houses a mini aquarium, a restaurant, and a souvenir shop.

The two buildings are connected by an observation deck. The view is great, so you can enjoy the scenery as well.

Although it's not well known, bicycle rentals are also available here. You can also rent one at the station.

This is a good base for your trip to Tateyama. There are spacious and clean toilets, vending machines, and places to sit and take a break."
