What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Sunshine City is a highly recommended destination, particularly praised for its diverse shopping, entertainment, and themed attractions, making it ideal for families and anime fans. Visitors enjoy the panoramic views from the observatory and the unique atmosphere of the character cafes and gachapon stores. While some find the aquarium a bit small, the overall experience is overwhelmingly positive, offering hours of fun and exploration.
"If you're around the area with some free time then the aquarium can be a fun stop, but I wouldn't go out of my way to make a purpose trip solely around it. It's not huge by any means but they put in as much as possible. Was a nice way to kill an hour or two. It located on top of a big mall so there's plenty to see there too."

"Sunshine 60 Observatory TENBOU-PARK was such a peaceful and beautiful experience! The views of Japan were absolutely stunning you can even see Tokyo Skytree from up there. What really stood out to me was how relaxing the atmosphere was. It’s designed kind of like an indoor garden with cozy, cushioned seating areas where you can just sit, chill, and take in the views. It was much less crowded when we visited compared to other observatories, which made the experience feel even more special. I wasn’t overwhelmed or overstimulated just completely relaxed. The area around the observatory is also really fun, with plenty of great eateries and places to explore before or after your visit. Highly recommended if you want amazing views of the city without the chaos of big crowds. A total hidden gem!"
