"This was the store and residence of Kazama, a Meiji-era merchant. Built during the Meiji period, it has been preserved as a cultural asset. The family expanded its business by flexibly changing from samurai to kimono merchants and then to banking. The building features stone roof tiles, which are renewed every 20 years. The garden, where the film was also shot, is also beautiful, allowing you to lose track of time and become immersed in the scenery."
