It only operates in the summer and there was always a no-entry sign, but I didn't see it today so I took a look. It would be really nice to come with a friend who goes camping. Miuda Beach is right next door
and Nagisa-no-yu Onsen is right next door so it's a good place to take a bath, so it's a place I definitely want to stay. It's clean and well-managed."

"A well-maintained campsite at Japan's northwesternmost point. You can even see ships heading for Korea.

In the winter, only the lodge is open, and there are no permanent tents.

The lodge has air conditioning, so all you need is a sleeping bag. You can also use as much firewood as you like.

There are also outlets in the auto-camping area.

A set of plates, knives, pots, chopsticks, etc. is provided. The only thing missing is a sponge for washing the dishes when returning them, so you'll need to bring your own...

The manager stays in the management building until late in the evening.

In the morning, many people, including those not staying overnight, would come in for a stroll."

"Our original plan was to ride an electric bike, play in the ocean, and then head to the campground to check in and pitch our tent at 1 p.m. However, it was so incredibly hot that we knocked on the campground information desk at 11:30. The friendly campground staff said we could check in after 12:30 and let us store our luggage! When we arrived, they told us the bungalows had air conditioning. All the nearby hotels were full, so we paid the extra fee and stayed in a bungalow! It was a single-room wooden bungalow, but it was right by the ocean, clean, and had great air conditioning. It was heaven! Oh, and I think cooking utensil rentals are included with the bungalow. We didn't use it, but it seemed to have everything we needed! There was even dishwashing liquid and a sponge at the outdoor sink.
There's a free, cold-water shower on Miuda Beach, and a 600 yen hot spring just a minute away down a side road! The facilities are clean and include three hot springs, one cold spring, one open-air bath, and one sauna! Shampoo and body wash are provided, and towels are available for an additional 100 yen.
I requested a taxi upon checkout, and they called one for me! The campsite owner was incredibly kind. Communication was difficult due to my limited Japanese, but we managed to communicate using body language and a little English!
Next time, I'll pitch a tent and fully experience the atmosphere."
