Reviews Summary

Visitors rave about the exceptional guided tours, highlighting the guides' extensive knowledge, friendliness, and willingness to go above and beyond. The opportunity to learn about local ecology and wildlife is a major draw. While the museum exhibits are primarily in Japanese, the overall experience is overwhelmingly positive, with many calling it the best part of their Japan trip.

"The snowshoe tour with Yuna-san and Shinji-san is the best day we have had in Japan in our six weeks trip. They are so knowledgeable on plants, animals, and ecology. We learned so much from them it's better than going to school. They prepare tea for us at the most beautiful place we have ever been. They learned that my child likes to sled so she carries the sled and took us to a slope to sled to her hearts content.

In addition to the amazing guided walk, Yuna-san learned of our trip and proactively checked on bus schedules and helped us plan an alternative route. I dropped my phone into the lake without realizing until later in the tour. And to our surprise, Shinji-san and Yuna-san searched for two hours and found my phone!

Their attention to detail, attitude to serve, and their patience are amazing! We also lost our water bottle before the trip and they even called Nagaden and found our bottle and had it sent on the bus we were going to take tomorrow!

They have an amazing team of guides and we highly recommend taking the tours with them."

"Really nice experience with our English speaking snowshoeing guide Yuna. I appreciated the explanations about trees and animals. The museum is strictly in Japanese and could be refreshed with English translations."

Nicolas Parot Alvarez

"We did the snow guided tour, our guide was Jup he was really friendly, well informed, worked well with the group.
He had great knowledge of both the activity and of the local area, highly recommend it for making the best of your stay in the area."
