What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Akiya Coast for its stunning sunsets, potential views of Mount Fuji, and a more relaxed atmosphere compared to nearby beaches. It's a great spot for swimming, water sports, and dog walks, with convenient facilities like public toilets and nearby eateries. However, the extremely limited parking, especially on weekends, is a significant drawback that requires early arrival or alternative transport planning.
"This is a nice place to relax. Free parking. Has a public toilet. A convinience store around. A good place to walk with your dog. The sundown here is very nice and if your lucky you can see the mount fuji here.. You can bring your kids to go swimming. No barbeque allowed. You have to go here early especially on saturday and sunday because the parking here is always full."

"Enjoy the epic sunsets along the coast of Akiya - from Tateishi Park to Sekine Beach with Fujisan 🗻 in the background. The beach is also relatively crowd free and a perfect place to paddle board, surf and kayak. Free parking is very limited and fills up rather quickly. Some nice casual restaurants are nearby such as LuvIt Hayama and Marlowe’s. This beach is quiet and less crowded than Zushi, Hayama, Morito Coast, Kamkura, Enoshima area but again - the parking is very limited."
