"The Akechidaira Ropeway is located on the way to Lake Chuzenji, so if you plan to visit both the lake and the ropeway, it’s best to go to the ropeway first. If you visit the lake first, you’ll end up passing the same road again to reach the ropeway, and then repeat the route once more on your way back—basically traveling the same road twice.
