"I came with my six kids, age 3 to 12. We arrived early because we didn't know how long it might take, and assumed (wrongly) there would be somewhere to grab lunch beforehand. Don't make the same mistake we did!
The two hours of work we did, from 1pm-3pm, with an explanation from the archeologist about the events that came before the project and then a demonstration of how to sift, took their (and my!) minds off the hunger. It was one of the best activities we've done as a family, an incredible hands-on way to learn about the Temple Mount and the dynamics of the region that brought about the necessity of this project. I recommend it strongly!"
