What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise the Al-Khubtha Trail for its unparalleled Treasury viewpoint, calling it a must-do for its breathtaking scenery. The hike is described as challenging but rewarding, with stunning views of the Royal Tombs and Theater along the way. Some note the significant number of stairs, advising visitors to take their time and stay hydrated.
"100% worth it! A lot of stair though. After reading some reviews here I actually expected worse. Yes, there are many stairs, but just take your time and take some breaks in between, and it’s very much doable. After the gated camp go down to your right and soon you will find the viewpoint you’re looking for. I visit end of January and there was no shop and no need to buy anything. I was mostly by myself taking pictures."

"The path starts in front of the Royal Tombs and, after a rather difficult climb, going up hundreds of steps, it ends at the Treasury View Point. The view from here is exceptional! Also, on the route you have very beautiful views, including the theater.
The round-trip route is about 3.5 km long and is quite difficult, you need at least 2 hours to complete it round-trip."

"Nice view on the way to get top, also a place to see sunset. On top you can look down to Treasury but you have to drink some thing in tea house. Tea 2 dinar, oramge juice 3dinar"
