"An experience I recommend 100%. The hospitality of the hosts, the explanation of the planting process, tea harvesting, and everything else is incredible. We finished the whole activity at around 2:45 pm. They give you a tour and explanation of their harvest fields. There is also tea tasting and some snacks to accompany it. Then comes lunch, and everything is delicious! Everything is very tasty, from the salad to the meat and dessert. What an experience!
I would definitely do it again."

"We had the most amazing experience at Kiambethu . The visit to this tea estate was the highlight of our trip . It was a perfect day . Sunny and clear .
The drive to Kiambethu is amazing. Absolutely pristine. It’s very close to Nairobi and within 45 mins from city centre one can get here . Once there you’re in the lap of nature .
Fiona who’s the 3rd generation family member running this tour ( started in 1970) is really a bundle of energy. Her presence is lively and she’s full of knowledge and speaks with passion . She took us on a tour around her beautiful estate and answered all our questions . This place is one you have to experience as photos and words don’t do enough Justice.
Fiona and her daughter Sara are excellent hosts . They offered us tea and home made array of cookies . Lunch was super awesome with wines , drinks , soup , main course and delectable ice cream from farm fresh milk which comes from their own cattle .
Never realised how 3 hours passed . I strongly recommend this experience to one and all who is visiting Kenya . The 35 USD you spend is well worth every penny spent ."

"Absolutely an amazing tour! I was on the fence and I'm happy I was able to make it. The talks were very engaging and entertaining. I learnt a lot about the production of coffee and also the business of it. The food was also amazing. I'd totally pay the same for just the lunch. Most importantly, they were so kind to accommodate my tight schedule and provided an expedited lunch experience. They also offered the driver some lunch which was an extra nice touch. I've never felt so welcomed in a place. Now, looking forward to tasting the teas I purchased!"
