Reviews Summary

Visitors find the Nyayo Monument a place of historical reflection and a good spot for photos. While some have been disappointed by unexpected closures, others appreciate its quiet atmosphere. The adjacent stadium is a hub for lively events, offering a contrasting experience.

"I visit this place but it was closed at the time I went by. online Google said that it was still open, however when I got there there was a huge fence around it and the guards told me that it was not open at this time. It looked very nice from afar, hopefully, it will be open soon. I'll go by on another day to check and make sure but I really wanted to see it so a little disappointed, but it's okay."

Yovel Kivoi

"This was put up for the memory of second President of Kenya whose slogan was "Nyayo" which meant he was to follow the footsteps of his predecessor the late Founding father of the Nation Kenya, President Jomo Kenyatta. Moi became President of the republic of Kenya in 1978 after the death of Jomo Kenyatta, Because he was the Vice President then, then election was held and he was elected President of Kenya."
