"Beach may be beautiful, but pictures are a bit too flattering, there is usually a lot of seaweed on the shore with ton of plastic. Don't think you can beach walk there, there will be five people all over you, walking along, having first a small talk that you cannot opt out of if you want to be polite, that leads to buy/pay for something. Once you say no, they walk out and within 10 meters there will be another group coming up. As much as I can understand trying to make a business and living, after 20 min you just want to escape from that place. A bit pity."

"A beautiful and not very crowded beach. The road from Malindi is quite rough. A piki ride is beautiful for an experienced rider but would not recommend a tuk tuk in any circumstance. I took kite surfing lessons here with a private coach. There never seems to be waves but the unique shape of the bay means alternating shallow and deep parts. A couple of restaurants are nearby for drinks and sundowners."
