Reviews Summary
Kyndyg Hot Springs offers a natural and therapeutic escape with its volcanic waters and mud baths, drawing many repeat visitors for its healing properties. While the rustic amenities and occasional service inconsistencies are noted, the affordable price and lack of time limits make it a popular choice for relaxation and wellness.
"We warned the ticket counter that we'd be leaving to go back to the car and then back into the grounds, and they said we could. Ten minutes later, they wouldn't let us back in and made us pay again. They argued that we'd been walking around for too long, so we had to pay again."

"A healing spa with water from volcanic springs. Several swimming pools and a hydromassage area are clean and well-maintained. Snacks with hot and cold drinks and lunch are available. Admission is 300 rubles (approximately €4) per person, with no time limit. Open daily from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Parking is free. Relieves joint pain and other symptoms."

"Like other excursion places in Abkhazia, the service here is organized with a high degree of disregard for visitors. Half of the Sharko shower channels are out of order. The sun loungers underneath them are old, skewed, probably from ancient Soviet times. The queue to them is 3-5 people. In the cascade of thermal pools, each subsequent one is noticeably murkier. There is one cold shower for temperature contrast in the entire complex and consists of two taps. Under each there is a barrel and one bucket. So if you want to pour clean water over yourself, and not scoop it out of a barrel, where everyone dives, then you will create a queue for buckets. I did not climb into the ditch with medicinal mud, I was disgusted. The color and smell inherent in ordinary river silt made me doubt its healing properties. Not every pool has paving slabs. In some places there are rubber mats on top of round pebbles. The path to the toilet is also made of round pebbles. And the most annoying thing is that the toilet is paid, although it costs symbolically 10 rubles, but it is so annoying to run for change to your things, especially if you leave your things in the storage cell at the entrance, where you can’t go even with a bare torso. The general feeling of unsanitary conditions accompanies you throughout your stay here."
