Lidia is truly inspiring and well beyond her time, her creative genius and love of family is evident in every room of the house- she prances around magically with passionate explanations of her artistic endeavors evidenced yet again in the well crafted activities throughout the tour. This isn't just a museum, it is an experience and a deep dive into creativity shaped by culture, family and love. Nestled away in city, this mirrored masterpiece of a house stands out subtlety yet artistically inviting outsiders to discover the beauty, craftsmanship and creative genius of Lidia and Khalaf Al Qattan. "What an experience. Highly recommend. A 2 hour journey with the lovely Lidia Qattan. An absolute delight. I loved every minute. Lidia moved to Kuwait when she married her Kuwaiti husband Khalifa (also a pioneering artist but now sadly deceased). The Mirror House was created by Lidia and is a private residence in Kuwait. I was left in awe of Lidia's work. The house is covered with mirror mosaics. Lidia entertained us with her stories and detailed information about each room.
