What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Tad Champee is a pretty and peaceful waterfall on the Bolaven Plateau, offering a more intimate experience than its larger neighbors. Visitors appreciate the opportunity to get close to the falls and explore a nearby cave. However, the condition of the bridge, which grants access behind the waterfall, can be a significant issue, especially after the rainy season, leading to disappointment for some.
"Stopped by to see this waterfall after an underwhelming visit to Tad Fane. As of this review, entry is 30,000 Kip and parking for a motorbike is 5,000 Kip. The entrance looks a bit run down, but just head to the nearby house to pay. It’s an easy 10-minute walk to the falls, though the path can be a little slippery, so take care. The waterfall isn’t as grand as Tad Fane, but it’s still very pretty and peaceful. I’d recommend stopping by!"

"Right now (end of rainy season, Oct 2025) it's probably not worth the ride out to this waterfall. The bridge, which connects you to the swimming basin, is broken with several parts washed away. This means the best you can hope for is a partial view of the waterfall (see attached photos). It's too dangerous to ford across. The guy selling tickets at the top offers to reimburse some of your costs, because of this, but you need to ask."

"One thing that I am mad about here is there's no sign or tell you that the bridge is broken. They just collected the money and you see nothing.
I would be a very nice place to visit if the bridge was still there"
