What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about Mežakaķis Adventure Park, calling it a 'wonderful experience' and 'highly recommended' for its challenging and rewarding treetop courses. The park is praised for its good value, family-friendliness, and the exhilarating zip lines. While the on-site drinks are average, the overall experience is overwhelmingly positive, making it a must-visit for adventure seekers.
"10/10 Wonderful experience. Went here with my brother and some friends, the tree climbing was difficult but very rewarding. The black track was very difficult but with some strength you can definitely get through it. There are some height requirements, but people above 16 shouldn't have much trouble. The drinks inside the bar were at most alright, nothing special. Very recommended to anyone visiting or looking to have some fun, absolutely wonderful experience."

"Great rope park. Not crowded even on weekends.
Kids who can't reach 140cm with their hand can walk the yellow path only. 140-160 (hand reach) can walk the green and the green+ paths, the later taking about 20 minutes to complete. Taller kids and adults can walk the more difficult paths.
The white path requires 180cm hand reach.
There is also a long zip line that requires almost no climbing and can be used even by kids below 160cm reach when accompanied by adults/older kids."

"We recently spent an exhilarating afternoon at Mežakaķis climbing park in Sigulda, Latvia! With two children aged 9 and 11, both devoted climbers, we were looking for an activity that would be fun, safe, and engaging for everyone - and this place absolutely delivered.
The park is beautifully nestled among the tall trees of Sigulda, with a view on the Gauja river. The courses are thoughtfully designed, winding through the forest with a mix of wooden platforms, rope bridges, equilibrium challenges (including a rare suspended bicycle high up in the trees!) and exhilarating zip lines at the end of each course.
The staff were friendly and attentive and the safety instructions were thorough and clear. Also the staff in the restaurant was very helpful (special thanks to Elina!) and prepared us a tasteful lunch after our activity.
There’s quite a few mosquitoes in the area, so I recommend bringing some repellent to fully enjoy your day up in the trees.
All in all, our visit to the Sigulda climbing park was a highlight of our trip to Latvia. It’s the perfect place for families who want an adventurous and active day out in nature."
