"A great place for a walk alone, with family/friends or children. Dogs friendly.
There is a couple spots for picnic with fire place and plenty of tent places,a perfect place for a couple nights in a tent, when the weather is good!

In spring time you can enjoy a beautiful walk through the woods on nature trail with snowdrop anemones blooming all over the place, magical feeling! Autumn time is very beautiful too, but the trail can be slippery.
If you are into energy work - this place have a very strong energies, meditation, sound rituals, prayers, shamanic drum sessions, runes rituals, tarot readings will go deep.
Don't forget to call, thank and feed the Spirits of the place, leave them a fruit, nuts, seeds or cookies, they'll appreciate it and will give you a support and a good luck!🙏"

"Such a nice place. Use the parking lot on Google Maps as your destination and not the Rock itself.
The parking lot is well kept and big enough. There’s a little souvenir shop where you can also buy some snacks. There are some playgrounds here, but we didn’t really explore the rest of the place, we just wanted to enjoy the scenery and the reddish rocks with the river. Beautiful!"

"Picturesque red sandstone outcrop (two, actually), two walking trails (short and long one), gorgeous views from above and below, River Amata, vast meadow and a picnic spot. Bring along friends, meat and skewers. It's better than Sigulda, and this Sunday was almost void of people. Worth spending whole day during the swimming season and three-four hours during a mellow Indian summer. An hour's drive from Rīga. Free entrance, free parking."
