Reviews Summary

Malbun is praised for its stunning alpine location and family-friendly atmosphere, with many enjoying the hiking and skiing opportunities. However, some visitors have noted rising prices and inconsistent service experiences in dining establishments, particularly during busy periods.

"Perfect location, next to the tourist information centre, bus stop and the start of the Panoramaweg. Comfortable, clean room. Super helpful staff. Sauna open on demand and they even made me a flask of herbal tea. They dried my shoes overnight too. I don't think the Elch Bar was open in September but I had a nice local beer in the restaurant. Vegan breakfast was müsli with oat milk, vegan yogurt and bread with jam. I didn't have dinner but there were two vegan mains on the menu. There's a strange concrete subway, full of local tat, connecting three buildings. Reception, bar and restaurant are in the old building. My room and the sauna were in the third. Recommended!"

"Absolutely stunning location.
I have stayed here twice, the first time because I just googled Liechtenstein Hotels and found it.
The second time because I came back after staying the first time.
Lovely Hotel, extremely friendly owner and Staff.
Excellent Breakfast.
I ate my meals in the Hotel Restaurant which were of a very generous portion.
Excellent Bar in the Basement which is very nicely presented.
The Staff again are extremely friendly.
I look forward to returning in the future."

"Prices have seriouly rissen since Corona.
Käsespätzle are Not as good as in earlier years.
The cheese is more simple and not the former original receipt. And no onion rings - ready to go out of the instant "box"... Big slices cucumber not so tasty...
AND the SMALL salat has to be ordered and payed extra. This was included the years before
Location top as ever.
Service is not really OK, their faces look not friendly or even a smile is misding ...

And the BEST at the end: "FERTIG?" she asked.
And not "Hat es Ihnen geschmeckt? Und darf ich abräumen?" - you feel like in a 3rd class guest house... rough and ready behaviour.
WLAN free that's a plus."
