Majid Lilleh, All glory to God what a great witness these Maronite Christian Monks building their own Monastery by hand. Stone by stone this is truly amazing and will be celebrating the opening of this new church in the Mountains of Lebanon on Aug 2nd. Only weekend the whole year that it's open to the public. Reviews Summary

Visitors praise Trinapolis Monastery and Church for its beautiful location on the Neris River and its serene atmosphere, making it a peaceful spot for reflection. The historical significance and architectural charm are also frequently highlighted, though some note that the monastery itself has limited public access as it functions as a recollection center.

"It's a beautiful cultural heritage landmark on the shores of the Neris river. Worth visiting during any time of the year as it looks very different in each season, but leaves a great impression despite the time of the year. Trinapolis Church of the Holy Trinity is the second church you can find when walking the Way. Here, in this beautiful place on the shores of River Neris, the first church with monastery buildings were built in 16-17th century. In 1710 it suffered a fire and then the church was rebuilt between 1715-1721. It gained the current late baroque style after another reconstruction in 1750-1760. In 1812 the monastery served as a war hospital for the Napoleon’s army. The church was closed by Russian government in 1832. In 1849 the church was turned into orthodox St. Joseph church. After WWI the church was returned to catholics and was repaired. Soviet government closed the church once more in 1948 and turned the monastery into a camping and tourism centre. After Lithuania restored independence in 1992, the church was returned to Vilnius archdiocese and now houses a nunnery and the nuns are running a recollection centre for people looking for solitude and calm."
