"I recently stayed for 2 nights, and wish it had been longer. A really wonderful hotel, in every way.
My classic double room was perfect for one person - a great size, lots of amenities (free minibar contents, a view, bathroom products including vanity kit/loofah, quality towels/bedding, spacious shower cubicle).
Every staff member I encountered was exemplary, and should be commended for their high level of service and attention to detail. They were friendly and helpful without being overbearing.
The welcome drink was a nice touch, and the rooftop setting was very pleasant. It was a little breezy up there, but the city lights were worth it.
There was no airport shuttle service during my stay very early November 2025. I took public transport and it took significantly longer than I had imagined (LRT to Barra, then a bus for a handful of stops or a 28 minute walk which equated to around an hour, give or take). They could have ordered a cab, which was a lot swifter (15-20 mins - I forget the exact cost but honestly it wasn’t that expensive, perhaps 150MOP if memory serves me).
There was pavement construction work going on directly outside. They did apologise for this, but I personally did not notice any noise from my room on floor 8.
It’s quite far to Cotai, but very close to the ruins of St Paul’s and a lovely neighbourhood area that felt more authentic.

"Great place to stay in Macau the hotel is a great time capsule from the 1920s remaining its beauty and charm. Great place to stay especially if you dont want to stay near the casinos. You can easily walk to them. Our room was great and the bathroom tip top details. Full soaking tub and rain style shower head. Service was great and they even were able to make my girlfriend special as it was her birthday, with a small cake and HBD spelled out and some towels wrapped into animal shapes. In room coffee with antique grinder was of interest to me. Bed super comfortable with a nice view overlooking the city."
