"Great rooms, but service leaves a lot to be desired
I recently stayed at the W Macau. Overall, it’s a beautiful property that feels every bit like a luxury 5-star hotel. The rooms are absolutely amazing—modern, spacious, and very comfortable. The design and amenities really exceeded my expectations.
Unfortunately, the service didn’t match the quality of the rooms. The staff often came across as unaccommodating, and I frequently felt like I had to fight to get even basic requests handled. Calling the front desk almost always meant being put on hold or waiting for long stretches before anyone would answer. At one point, I couldn’t even get a bellman to assist with my luggage, which was surprising for a hotel in this category.
On a positive note, the breakfast was delicious, with a great variety and fresh options every morning. The property itself is fantastic—stylish and well-maintained.
If the staff and service were more responsive and guest-focused, this would easily be a five-star experience. As it stands, it’s a great place to stay if you value beautiful rooms and amenities over attentive service."

"I have stayed in several hotels in Taipa, and this is the best one so far. The rooms are not overly big but spacious enough for a comfortable stay. They have all the amenities you need for a short stay. The lobby is a bit small but they have sufficient counters available for a smooth and quick check-in. Location is good, quick access to the shuttle bus lobby. Good selection of restaurants and shops in Studio City, Parisian is a traffic light away. I was there for an event at Galaxy Arena and that was within walking distance too."
