"WOW ! [ Especially Hell-Ville ]-Must be one of the happiest places anywhere !
Welcome to Hell 😉
Should be called Happy-Ville.
A real island feel.
QUICK HEADS UP :
Roads can be a nightmare, pot holes everywhere from Andilana to Hellville [ to Hell and back ] !
Mostly repaired now [ May '19 ].
A mission during cyclone | heavy rain , virtually impassable.
Have to ride it out with no electricity, WiFi. Otherwise, getting about pretty easy. Bus, Tuk Tuk, communal taxis, back of scotters | pickup trucks | trike. Fun on the buses ; The advantage of going slow (1 hour for 29 km), you can see more !
Women breast feeding in public | peeing | spitting and picking nose, where they can.
Why is the sky at night so much clearer here than next door, Reunion | Mauritius???
CAN SEE THE MILKY WAY !!! [ Feels really close ]."
TERENCE J SIMMONS
"Island full of contrasts. From the one side great beaches, clear and warm water, open people, many things to see. From the other people who have very little (but seem to somehow get through), poor infrastructure, hard conditions for local people. Definetly the island is worth to visit."
