"The public landmark is outside in public area, so no tickets are needed. Strangely, photos taken from certain angle look like a slanted tower. It is located next to a few other landmarks too. One wouldn't spend more than 10 mins here. Can take instagrammable shots too. It is a must visit place in Alor Setar."

"The Nobat Hall is said to have originally been a wooden tower built in the early 18th century, but unfortunately no records exist. Records from 1854 to 1879 show it had five floors, but it was reduced to three during the 1906 renovation. It is mainly used to house various instruments used by the Royal Band during royal ceremonies (coronations, weddings and funerals), and is not open to the public."
