What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors find Kellie's Castle a cool historical site with fascinating stories and good photo opportunities, though some note it could be cleaner and the entry fees might be a bit high for the current condition. The intense heat and crowds on weekends are common concerns, but the unique architecture and intriguing past make it a worthwhile visit for many.
"Pretty cool site with fascinating history. Worth visiting. Fair entry price. Easy to access.
Two rooms are furnished & somewhat restored to what it approximately looked lime when the owner lived here in the 1920s. It would be even better, and earn our 5 star rating, if the two display rooms were dusted & cleaned regularly, furniture & wood floors and mirrors polished, and antique clocks running & keeping time. It would only need attention once a week, but would make this site 5?or even 7-stars."

"Beautiful historical building. Good place to take pictures. We arrived at noon in very hot weather because the sun was just like above our head. 🥵 🌞I think we should go in the evening in future. The place is nice but I think the ticket fees & parking price isn't worth the penny. The building isn't clean enough even though we pay with the entrance fee but it's a good place for historical stories hunters."

"It was amazing to visit the historical castle. It was really nice even if it was ruined. You can see how the owner this castle love to built his castle. It was details and so nice inside. They have really nice scenery surround the castle. Personally I really love to see old structures for some reasons I don’t know but it really inspired me and gives me ghost bums. I even went to the rooftop to see the beautiful surrounding. I love this place."
