Reviews Summary

Chamang Waterfall is praised for its stunning natural beauty and easy accessibility, making it a popular day trip from KL. Visitors appreciate the convenient parking and basic facilities. However, the strong currents and slippery rocks pose significant safety risks, with a history of drowning incidents, necessitating extreme caution, especially for families with children.

"Beautiful waterfall set in lush forest — you can see the falls from the parking area and there are flat rock shelves and shallow wading pools good for families. Facilities are basic (parking, picnic spots, some stalls/toilets) and it gets busy on weekends, so come early.

Be careful: rocks are slippery, currents can be strong and flash floods happen during/after heavy rain, so supervise children and don’t swim where the flow is fast. Affordable entrance fee (a few ringgit) and about a 1–1.5 hour drive from KL make it an easy, rewarding day trip."

Izat Safuan

"It’s a beautiful waterfall. However very strong under current, so I would enter with caution and keep children under close observation. There’s a sign board saying all the deaths that happened here over the years. We were warned to exit the area if we hear a siren, as someone got trapped in rocks just a month ago, from water gushing down.

The waterfall is located right by a large parking area, no hike needed. There are showers and toilets. Some benches and some huts for picnics. There were even people selling food and drinks there.

We visited on a Saturday afternoon, it’s quite crowded. Entrance fee collected in cash. RM3 per head for locals, and RM3 per car, be sure to bring cash."

CW Wong

"Rm3 per person to access to the water fall parking , there are 3 parking inside . One at up hill and another two near water fall area .
There is a suspension bridge across the waterfall

Overall feel is good , clean and clear water. just be careful when visit as slippery floor"
