"We had a wonderful family experience at Paya Indah Wetlands Discovery Park. From Gate 1, we took a jeep ride through winding paths, which was such an exciting adventure for the kids to feel like they were exploring the forest. We got to see hippos being fed with leaves – they were huge yet so adorable! The boat cruise across the beautiful paya was relaxing and gave us the chance to spot bird nests along the way. We also stopped to see the crocodiles, where we were told some of the famous “viral” crocodiles found elsewhere are now kept here. The whole journey back on the jeep was equally fun. The atmosphere was peaceful, and the staff were very friendly, knowledgeable, and caring. Truly a great place for families to explore nature, and I highly recommend a visit."

"We used to come over to this place for a quick weekend escape for our family. The place used to be filled with animals and it was fun those days especially for cyclists and campers. On our recent visit, the number of animals has been reduced, like horses, hippo and crocodiles are hard to be seen nowadays. There are chalets around the area, but it was abandoned maybe due to lack of funds during the pandemic. We always stayed a whole day but recently we won't, remember the abandoned chalets, it gave us goosebumps every time we cycled around and it was too quiet and scary especially near dusk. I really hope that the place will get an upgrade soon, as this was a convenient close to nature place for family, locals and tourists."
