What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise the Sacred Heart Cathedral for its beautiful and unique contemporary architecture and its welcoming, multi-lingual masses. The spaciousness and spiritual atmosphere are often highlighted. However, some note the limited parking and the heat due to the lack of air conditioning.
"I went there to attend Malaysia Catholic Youth Day, overall a good experience at the Cathedral and the parish centre.
There was enough space to accommodate around 1500 people at the same time, although it might be warmer to those who are not used to it.
I would definitely visit again."

"The church is big and beautiful. If you were planning to attend the mass on Sunday, I recommend you to come an hour or even earlier for you to get a seat in the church. Because if you were to come late, you will get to attend masses outside the church or inside the general hall with live from televisions and LCD. There are three main languages used to meet the needs of the locals which are Malay, English and Mandarin. Hospitable church, and friendly people. God bless you."

"Parking is so limited. Only Novus Ordo is celebrated here. The 14 stations of the Way of the Cross with slightly larger than a man full size. No kneelers, so better bring your own. The paths had been upgraded so they are more spacious with steel bridges. Some of the lights and wires need fixing."
