"I came there cause of the curiosity by many people reviews about this place. This place kind of hidden of thrifting store cause it's located on the corner of and it's difficult to be found. So many branded brand sold with affordable price. They accept cash and card. I found a vintage kate spade bag with really a good price with a good condition. I also found a jeans pant and leather belt. Everything that I found like fortunate depends on the stock. You have to be patient in sorting out of the stuff if you want to get a good deal."

"Good and professional. Sold quite a few of my clothes here. They are more interested in ZARA, TOPSHOP, ARMANI."

"I came here to sell my clothes(2 big bags including 6 pairs of shoes) last week, the staff told me they will call me after the assessment, but he did NOT mention (when will they call/how long is the assessment/using which number, etc,.)
I did receive some calls from a strange number later the day and I missed the call which I admitted it was my fault.
What PISSED ME OFF was I went back to this shop with my receipt and asking if I can get my money, they said my clothes were DISPOSED!!!!!! I’m like WHATTTTT??? They said if i don’t answer their call within 1 DAY my items will be disposed.NO ONE informed me this rule when I was there last time.My clothes are mostly 99% new and I carefully arranged and cleaned them before I took them to the shop.I felt so bad and speechless because my clothes don’t deserved to be disposed like trash without letting me know first.
I’d give -100 stars to this shop if I had an option 😜"

Visitors often describe the experience as a treasure hunt, where patience and a keen eye are rewarded with finds ranging from vintage designer bags to branded streetwear. The atmosphere is generally lively, with shoppers actively sifting through racks, making it a dynamic and engaging shopping environment. It's a place where budget-conscious shoppers and fashion enthusiasts alike can find stylish pieces and express their individuality.
For those new to thrifting in Kuala Lumpur, Sungei Wang Plaza offers a comprehensive experience. It's advisable to dedicate ample time to explore each store, as inventory can change daily. While the prices are generally affordable, some items might have minor defects, so thorough inspection is key to snagging the best deals. The plaza's central location in Bukit Bintang also makes it easily accessible, further adding to its appeal for both locals and tourists looking for a unique shopping adventure.
Navigating the Selling Process
The buy-in prices are generally quite low, often in the RM1-2 range per item. This is a common practice in the thrifting industry, as the shops are reselling the items. While this might not yield a significant profit, it's a convenient way to get rid of unwanted clothes. Staff interactions can be professional, and they usually allow you to walk away with your items if you're not satisfied with the offered price.
A critical point to be aware of, as highlighted by some reviewers, is the strict policy regarding assessment calls. If you miss a call from the shop within a short timeframe (sometimes as little as one day), your items may be disposed of without further notification. It's crucial to clarify the assessment timeline and contact procedures when you drop off your clothes to avoid any misunderstandings or disappointment.
