What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Coffee by Che offers a unique treehouse ambiance and late-night hours, making it a popular spot for chilling and coffee. While the atmosphere and friendly service are often praised, some visitors find the food and drinks to be pricey and inconsistent in quality, with a confusing ordering system noted as a drawback.
"My friend suggested this place and I definitely love the vibe. Hazelnut Latte and Hot Latte tasted good. The Sourdough Toast with Avocado and Scrambled Egg are among the best I've tried. I'd like to say thank you to Ahmed (forgive me if the spelling is incorrect) for his service both at the counter and serving services. His smile adds more warmth to the latte we're having just now. Kudos to him.
Check this place out for a day out with your family or your loved ones. Definitely deserved 5 Star from me"

"From the outside, this cafe looked super promising. Cute vibe, nice setup, kinda nature like, enough to make us want to give it a try. But honestly? The experience went downhill pretty quick.
First off, the ordering system is just plain weird. Drinks and desserts on the left, food on the right. Like, why? It’s the same cafe though, why make people walk back and forth just to place two orders? Super inconvenient and honestly kind of pointless.
Pricewise, it’s on the pricey side. We paid around RM68 for a nonsugar matcha latte, a caramel macchiato, and a box of tiramisu. Later, we added nasi lemak with sambal paru cost around RM15. At that price, I expected at least something to impress me, but nope.
The drinks? Honestly, nothing special. The only different was probably that the cups were slightly bigger than the usual cafe size. Tastewise, completely forgettable. But the matcha was acceptable kinda like it though.
The tiramisu was really below average. They have three versions, cake, bowl, and box, we tried the box. Too much cocoa powder made it super unpleasant to eat, the mascarpone was just okay, and the ladyfinger was oversoaked to the point it felt soggy and watery. I usually like strong coffee flavour in tiramisu, but this one just tasted like watered down bitterness. Couldn’t even finish it.
Now the nasi lemak. Honestly, one of the worst I’ve ever had. The rice was the only decent part, creamy basmati, nicely done. But the sambal, no balance at all. It wasn’t the nice sweet spicy type you’d expect for a nasi lemak sambal, it was just harsh and overpowering.
The sambal paru was worse, plain spicy, hard to chew, and tasted like it had been sitting around for too long. To top it off, no option for fried egg. Only has the boiled one. Couldn’t finish it, asked them to pack it up instead.
Overall, the whole thing felt like style over substance. The place may look good, the vibe is nice, but the food and drinks were such a major letdown. If going just to hang out and having some aesthetic cafe vibe maybe fine. But if going for the food, don’t bother. Please improve."

"Sadly was fooled by their viral moment on tiktok. Location is in bad condition. We sat at the top level for the treehouse seatings. Wood flooring looks like it’ll collapse anytime soon and the view is not aesthetic at all. It’s dark and dodgy looking. Food… below par. Paid rm 19 for what basically is a soup with the side of pasta. Rm19 and not even meat?? Or baked with cheese?? Aduhhh sakitnya hati. And it’s not efficient to create drinks straight away without customers paying first. I wanted to change my mind on a drink terus the cafe staff said no because they made ir already. Aip??"
