However, be prepared: I found that many Malaysian dishes here tend to be quite oily and use less fresh green vegetables compared to Vietnamese food. Also, a quick heads-up: the prices at this night market are quite high!
Overall, it's a great experience for atmosphere, but prepare your wallet and perhaps bring some wet wipes! 😉"

If you expect yourself to go to a night market (Pasar Malam), this would be a complete twist. It’s basically a normal alley with restaurant / zi-char stores on both slides and some push-carts stores. Not exactly Malaysian food. Many restaurants have been replaced by China food, Thai food, Vietnamese food etc. Satays, chicken wings, black hokkein mee are just normal food you can get from anywhere in Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand. Not necessarily to be here at tourist price, small portion and awful taste.
Since it was a well-known tourist spot and everyone thought they should be here. The street was very crowded but moved quickly.
It’s interesting to notice many non-Asians would eat at the expensive stores at the front and the asians would eat at the last store. We weren’t hungry and opted for simple food instead of seafood. RM86.50 for 2 pax. The portions were very small from usual. Quite salty.
The fruit juice opposite attracted me and we bought 2 fruit juices from the friendly lady. I had the colour fruit blend with purple dragon fruit, mango and avocado for RM10 and we ordered another avocado for RM10. Probably the cheapest in that alley. We saw some were selling RM15."
