"I observed two individuals (one older man and one younger person) opening merchandise without authorization, outside of the designated inspection area, and swapping parts between two identical products. One product was priced at RM 20 and the other at RM 15. The RM 15 item was missing a hand, so they removed the hand from the RM 20 item and attached it to the RM 15 one. Although the RM 20 product was originally complete, its leg had noticeable stains.
Additionally, I witnessed the younger individual discreetly removing components from the product while requesting a check from the staff. For instance, I saw that the product initially included a game token, which mysteriously disappeared after the inspection — presumably taken by him.
They often loiter around the area, frequently seen filling their shopping basket with various items, then walking around talking to others, asking if they've found any “good stuff.” After their discussion, they tend to randomly return some of the items from their basket to different places, creating disorder in the store.
At first, I didn’t intend to file a complaint, as I thought it was just normal behavior. However, I changed my mind after the older man snatched a product I was looking at and openly mocked me. I reported the incident to a staff member, but they responded with indifference, saying it was beyond their control. Later, after discussing my complaint with other staff members, they all seemed to treat the matter as a joke and were laughing loudly together — completely ignoring how inappropriate and unprofessional that behavior was."
