"Our experience at Sabayon was truly exceptional and exceeded our expectations. We came to celebrate two very special occasions—our baby’s gender reveal and my partner’s post-birthday celebration—and the entire team made the night unforgettable.

We felt very welcomed the moment we arrived. Our server, Kuya Mick, was incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely pleasant to talk to. Since I’m pregnant, he made sure that every dish and drink were tailored to my dietary needs without compromising the overall experience. We chose the Le Petit menu. The appetizer was the Amuse Bouche, which came with Prosecco. Because I couldn’t consume alcohol or raw meat/seafood, they thoughtfully cooked the scallops in the Amuse Bouche for me, and I was given the option to choose any non-alcoholic drink from their menu. I chose a refreshing blend of pandan, lime, coconut milk, and aquafaba.

The next course offered goose liver and Wagyu carpaccio. I’m not really a fan of liver and couldn’t have the Wagyu carpaccio since it’s raw, so I was relieved and grateful when Kuya Mick assured me they would cook mine. That simple adjustment made a huge difference and allowed me to enjoy the meal completely.

There was also an option to add the lobster bisque. I skipped it, but my partner—who’s a chef and can be quite particular about food—said it was his absolute favorite dish of the night, which speaks volumes.

For the main course, we chose the lamb from the four available options (lamb, fish, chicken, or an upgrade to Wagyu sirloin). The lamb was incredibly tender and bursting with flavor. Dessert was equally delightful: my partner had the chocolate whiskey ice cream, while I enjoyed the mango-carrot sorbet, which was refreshing and delicious.

And then came the gender reveal. Initially, we were told that because it was a last-minute booking, they could only write the gender on a plate with our dessert. But the staff went above and beyond. They surprised us with a complimentary cake in the color of our baby’s gender—far more thoughtful than we expected. They even prepared a small treat for my partner for his belated birthday, which was such a sweet touch.

The entire staff was warm and attentive throughout the evening, checking in just the right amount. Our table was perfect—a cozy corner with a couch that was especially comfortable for my back. To top it all off, they gave us a printed photo as a keepsake and wished us well on our growing family.

It was truly a night to remember. Thank you so much, Sabayon team, and especially Kuya Mick, for making our celebration so meaningful. We left with full hearts and beautiful memories."
