What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Sentul Park offers a beautiful, calming environment with lovely lakeside dining options and is a safe spot for evening runs. However, visitors frequently encounter confusing access restrictions and inconsistent security policies, leading to frustration regarding entry and photography.
"The park is officially open to the public – no fences, no warning signs – yet the security constantly chases people away, forbids taking photos, and even stops you from simply walking around. We were followed and harassed by guards the whole time, and we honestly couldn’t understand why this place is considered open for everyone. If that’s the case, then put up fences and clear restriction signs. There is a pickleball court and a performing arts center – can these really be private property? And yet even access to these facilities, and even to the restaurant, was blocked by security. Who is supposed to visit these places, and how are people meant to get there?"

"The park itself looks beautiful, but sadly, access is extremely restricted. We were only allowed to walk around the parking area and the space directly outside KLPAC. The majority of Sentul Park? Off-limits. A guard came over and told us this was private property meant for "residents only". It’s unclear which residents or how one is even supposed to get permission. No signage that says entry is prohibited, no gates, no information anywhere.
My kids were really looking forward to exploring the greenery, but we were stopped almost immediately. If it’s a private park, fair enough but at least clearly mark it as such. It’s incredibly misleading to present a wide, inviting space with public parking and then have people shooed away for simply walking.
A real letdown. False hope wrapped in pretty trees and colonial buildings. Don't bother name it as Sentul Park then. What a bloody waste of time 😤"

"The environment is very beautiful, cooling and calming. Very suitable to have morning jogging around this area. Besides, there is a koi fish breeding area and a bistro restaurant. Also the famous KLPAC is located nearby."
