Reviews Summary
Sky Bar at Traders Hotel is widely celebrated for its absolutely stunning, movie-like views of the Petronas Twin Towers, especially at night. Patrons rave about the elegant ambiance, attentive service, and delicious food, considering it excellent value for money despite the minimum spend. While the cocktails are noted as average by some, the overall experience is deemed essential for any Kuala Lumpur visit.
"The Sky Bar on the 33rd floor of Traders Hotel was absolutely amazing! A bar with a superb view of the Petronas Twin Towers at night. We were lucky enough to catch the Deepavali-themed colors of the Twin Towers, which were stunning! Although there was a minimum spend of RM100 per person (Shangri-La members get a 10% discount), we had dinner at the our hotel’s lounge before coming, so we were pretty full, but the salmon quinoa salad we ordered was incredibly delicious, and the desserts were also very tasty. The only downside was the cocktails, which were just average. Considering the view and the food, I think it was well worth it."

"SkyBar is, without question, one of the most breathtaking places in all of Kuala Lumpur. Everything about this experience is superb—from the atmosphere to the service to the absolutely immaculate view. Sitting by the iconic floor-to-ceiling windows, you’re literally eye-level with one of the most famous and gorgeous buildings in the world. The panorama feels surreal, like a scene out of a movie, and it’s honestly one of the best city views you’ll ever experience anywhere.
If you choose to sit right next to the windows, there is a two-hour seating commitment and a minimum spend of 100 RM. At first, I misunderstood and thought the 100 RM was an extra charge on top of the food, so I was prepared to pay close to 240 RM. But that wasn’t the case at all—the 100 RM is simply the minimum spend for your food and drinks. In the end, everything came out to about 140 RM total for my meal and juices. For what you get, it is unbelievably reasonable.
Think about it: I’m sitting in one of the most luxurious sky lounges in the city, eating great food, surrounded by a magical ambience, staring directly at the Petronas Towers—one of the most iconic buildings on Earth—and I only spent about 35 U.S. dollars including tip. You cannot beat that value anywhere in the world.
The ambience itself is beyond amazing. It’s elegant, peaceful, and simply unforgettable. The staff are warm, professional, and incredibly attentive. Everything is spotless, everything feels premium, and everything is done at an exceptionally high standard. It’s the kind of place where you sit down and immediately think, Wow… this is special.
If you’re visiting Kuala Lumpur, SkyBar isn’t just recommended—it’s essential. It’s easily one of the best experiences the city has to offer, and you’ll walk away feeling like you got far more than what you paid for."

"Had an amazing evening at SkyBar, Traders Hotel. The KLCC view is honestly one of the best views I’ve ever seen, perfect for a dinner date or a chill night out.
I ordered the Meera Avila, Salted Egg Chicken Boxing, and Tempura Shrimps. The drink was refreshing and both dishes were delicious. The salted egg chicken was crispy and flavourful, while the tempura shrimps were light and perfectly fried.
The live band added such a nice touch to the whole experience. Lovely ambience, great food, and an incredible view, definitely a place worth visiting in KL."
