"A must-visit destination when in Kuching, Sarawak.
Sarawak spans over 1,200 km from end to end, making it challenging to explore all its diverse regions. The Sarawak Cultural Village offers a unique opportunity to experience the rich heritage of the state in one place. It showcases the traditions, architecture, and way of life of the many ethnic groups that call Sarawak home—bringing the essence of these distant communities together in an accessible and engaging way."

"This is a very special ethnic village where you can see many traditional Malaysian architectures. Here you can watch a traditional Malaysian music and dance performance. The manager here is very kind. Our group went straight from the airport to here, it was quite late, preparing to close. The manager here happened to meet us and when he knew we had come a long way, he immediately took the initiative to invite us to watch the rest of the show without having to buy tickets. What a kind man"

"Quiet set of houses representing Sarawak’s traditional living quarters. Could do with more signage and explanation to make it more meaningful. Each site is staffed by 1-3 minders who also “demonstrate” traditional cooking methods. (Can buy snacks at RM5) Can be completed in 1-1.5h. At RM155 (foreigner), definitely isn’t cheap either. That excludes the 45 minute grab ride from the city center. More suited to an older audience who will appreciate the nostalgia or an European audience who can take in the novelty."
