First time solo trip to Singapore and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

If you can, I'd recommend going to Melaka. It's about a third of the way between KL and Singapore, if I recall correctly. Kuala Lumpur is really awesome. I'd recommend you see the Great Mosq of Putrajaya, the Batu Caves is also nice to some extent. They've repainted the stairs…

"Amazing visit of an authentic family house dating back to 1923. Ibrahim was so kind and friendly, he told us the story and history of his home! We loved the visit as much as the stories! Thank you"

"A very nostalgic home located in the middle of Kampung Morten. Limited parking space. Not required fee to enter this house. Ooen from 11:00am - 5:30pm. May walk or went there via cruise as well. Located near kg. Morten bridge.

Upon our arrival, we warmly welcomed by the house owner, Mr. Ibrahim. During house tour, he explained about his family lineage from his great2 grandfather until his generation which originally came from Sungai Puah, West Sumatera, Indonesia.

He brought us for the house tour. He explained us the history of the house, the function of each area of the house including the origin of Kg. Morten name.

Interesting visit. At here, we still able to see antique collection like records, traditional games like congkak, antique dishware and many more.

Being here made me felt like back to village since the house design, the aura of home and Mr. Ibrahim himself same age as my late grandfather.

Wish Mr. Ibrahim stay healthy and the house will be preserved for youngster and future generations."

"It may be a little bit biased here because I'm the family member who owned the villa. Generally the villa is the main house (Rumah Ibu) while surrounded with another 3 houses (Rumah Anak2) and all the houses are within a large corner of the village which have the best view. The villa is currently a museum, listed under Malacca tourism and closely monitored & maintained by generation."
